Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

A beautiful service befitting an exceptional man. Thank you to the family for enabling those of us who couldn’t be there in person to participate in this wonderful celebration of our dear friend, Big John. Jx
They say when we are gone no one will remember us for anything at all other than our kindness. What greater testament could there have been to Johns’s abundant kindness throughout his life, than the wonderful ceremony arranged by the family and the attendence of so many today to pay their respects & bid him farewell. RIP “Big John” (as he is known to many of us).
John, you were such a wonderful human being, full of positivity and goodness, and a beautiful warm spirit, i loved our band times and am so grateful we had the opportunity to reconnect after so many years. Your inimitable, infectious laugh will stay with me forever. Rest in peace, dear John. The angels have gained an amazing new choir member! Big love, Jx
Beautify eulogies by his siblings especially his sister. Obviously a close family
I’m not sure what I can say that hasn’t already been said. John was a great friend and brother and generous to a fault. I have lots of fond memories of John but his infectious laugh I will always hear in my mind when I think of him. Rest in peace brother.
John, music was the glue that held us all together as a family. Such great times, such wonderful times we had for all those years, and you were such an integral part of all our adventures. Still cannot believe you have gone. We will all miss you so much. Rest in peace brother, while you now sing so wonderfully with the angels, Love Vince & Jo xx
John, it was great knowing you for the short time we spent working on Ann’s fence. RIP
I knew John for the best part of 50 years. He was a true friend that was more like a brother to me. He was loyal and dependable, a man who was always willing to shoulder responsibility and never ran away from hard work. As well as all this, he had a great sense of fun, whose smile and laughter would light up a room. I miss him dearly, he will forever remain in my heart.
John was always & above all a kind soul, one of nature’s gentlemen. And always great fun to be around with his infectious laugh and broad smile. A fantastic singer/front man, as well as a great electrician when off stage & a friend you could always depend on.
Rest in peace dear John and keep that smile in tact up in the heavens where you now belong.
