I met Rose at Kings Church. She was such a gracious Jamaican lady. Yes I mean lady. Rose oozed kindness. She spoke kindly and was so generous with her time, talents and insights. She introduced me to the Jamaican Independence services. Since then I have taken my mum, sister, niece and granddaughter and intend to take others. I think of her fondly and I am encouraged through her example to be more gentle in my ways. Rose Thank you for all you gave to me. Until we meet I glory, rest in peace. Love Jacqui

Dear Aunty Rose, I will miss you dearly. You were a woman of substance, strong, kind, generous, wise, genuine and insanely beautiful. Words are not enough to describe the wonderful woman you were to me, to your family and to the community both in the UK and Jamaica. I will never forget your caring and sharing nature, your classy style, your smile and your warmth. Thanks for the Perfect Curry Goat recipe – I will always remember you.
May your beautiful soul rest in peace.
